LOW FILL DETECTOR
How It Works
The low fill detector consists of an encoder that monitors the conveyor system speed, an x-ray inspection module for detecting fill level, a pneumatic ejector, and a control unit. Cans are scanned as they pass through the inspection module and a signal is sent to the control unit. If the fill level is below the threshold set by the operator, another signal is sent to the ejector. As the can passes the ejector, it is pushed off the conveyor into a waste bin.
