We need Assembly Technicians to help build the best Small Scale Canning Lines. As an Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of a small, fast-paced, quality-driven team that is responsible for building products to meet production and customer demands.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is a creative thinker with a strong work ethic to help our business expand to meet customer demands. Being a team player who is detail oriented with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills is essential.

What CODI is looking for:

Someone who can do the following;

• Mechanical assembly of Automated Canning Systems to meet CODI expectations.

• Building Sub-Assemblies following procedures

• Installing Sub-Assemblies onto Filler

• Ability to Follow Instruction and Standards

• Keep Work Area Clean and Organized while getting work completed.

• Optional electrical assembly of automation systems to meet CODI expectations.

• Assist in the implementation of both 5S and KanBan

• Must be comfortable standing for periods of time

• General mechanical abilities

• Self-motivated and very dependable, we take attendance seriously

Who CODI is looking for:

• Can learn technical skills and become versed in equipment

• Work well independently, with little day-to-day supervision

• Have some experience working with their hands and small tools, such as in construction or other industry

• Have an aptitude and/or experience working with computers

• Are physically able to kneel, bend and stoop and can lift up to 60 pounds

• Appreciate the importance of safety and following strict safety and technical protocols

• Communicate effectively with fellow team members, and supervisors

• Have a high personal commitment to delivering quality services to our customers, consistent with our industry-leading quality program

The Job:

We are seeking a skilled Stainless Steel Welder to cut, assemble, and join stainless steel parts with precision. Your work will be essential in creating strong, reliable structures that meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and semi-automatic welding processes, particularly TIG, and MIG welding.

Who is CODI looking for?

• Ensures that all welds meet quality assurance standards.

• Determines appropriate welds, per customer specifications and quality assurance standards.

• Efficiently and effectively manages time and resources.

• Provides insight to Leadmen and Bay Supervisors.

• Performs all tasks of Welder-Class B Craftsman with no assistance.

• Completes manufacturing documentation in a timely manner.

• Follows all safety guidelines as noted in Safety Manual.

• Assists all supervisors and performs other duties as needed and directed.

Our dream candidate has the following qualifications

• An intuitive sense of how to solve unforeseen challenges

• Background and experience welding a variety of materials

• Routes product or materials to departments

• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments

• Maintains department database and files 

• Maintains and inventories non-job-specific bin stocked items and advises management of cycle count issues on a timely basis

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Starting pay is dependent on work experience, and skill. Range $18-$28 an hour.

• 3 DAY WEEKENDS!!!

• Hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday
