Assembly Technicians and General Labor

Hiring multiple positions

The assembly technician works as part of a team to build equipment sub-assemblies and install them on various pieces of canning line machinery. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong ethic. We are looking for technicians with a high level of personal commitment to delivering quality services to our customers consistent with our industry-leading quality program. The position requires the ability to learn technical skills and the desire to become versed in Codi Equipment. 

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical assembly of Automated Canning Systems to meet Codi expectations.

  • Building Sub-Assemblies following procedures

  • Installing Sub-Assemblies onto Filler

  • Ability to Follow Instruction and Standards

  •  Keep Work Area Clean and Organized while getting work completed.

  • Optional electrical assembly of automation systems to meet Codi expectations.

  • Assist in the implementation of both 5S and KanBan

  • Must be comfortable standing for periods of time

  • General mechanical abilities

  • Self-motivated and very dependable, we take attendance seriously

  • Communicate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors

  • Learn technical skills and become versed in Codi Equipment

Qualifications

  • Experience in a professional Assembly Role

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude

  • Independent and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of the team

  • Strong communication skills with technical competence

  • Appreciate the importance of safety and follow strict safety and technical protocols

  • Have a strong character and work ethic to work hard as part of team doing important work

  • Have an aptitude and/or experience working with computers

  • Requires a considerable amount of physical labor.

Solidworks Drafter/ Engineering Position

Full Time

The Solidworks Drafter will work as part of our engineering team to draft detailed mechanical drawings for shop use. The main focus will be on sheet metal, machined parts, and sub-assemblies for our Craft Canning Equipment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is detail oriented with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. We are looking for someone that is passionate about design and mechanical systems and who takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical drafting using Solidworks. Focus on sheet metal, machined parts, and sub-assemblies.

  • Create detailed drawings for shop use.

  • Hands on building/testing of prototype machines

  • Create shop work orders

  • Communicate with shop leads to manage projects through fabrication and assembly

  • Work with vendors to research purchased parts and negotiate pricing

  • Work with design team to create best products possible

Qualifications

  • Strong in Solidworks or comparable 3D CAD software

  • Passion for design, mechanical systems and quality of work

  • Willingness to work hard and accept constructive criticism

  • Thrives working in a collaborative environment

  • Reliable transportation

Not Required but a PLUS

  • BS in ME or MET. Great job for recent college graduates

  • 3-5+ years designing machinery, machined parts, sheet metal fabrication

  • Experience in aluminum can manufacturing, conveying, brewery equipment, or fill line and packaging equipment is a plus

Field Service Technicians/ Engineers

Full Time

The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting Codi equipment both in the field and over the phone. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with strong problem solving skills. We are looking for someone who can manage customer interactions in a confident and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction. The job requires a good driving record and ability to travel regularly, often for multiple nights/weeks in a row. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and commissioning of Codi products at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications

  • Drive company vehicle and rental service vehicle to customer locations

  • Perform site assessments or surveys and associated procedures.

  • Manage customer interactions in a confident and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Provide on-site technical service to troubleshoot and repair Codi products

  • Develop and conduct training on the Codi products

  • Strong communication skills with technical competence

  • Ability to learn technical skills and become versed in equipment installation and start-up

  • Work well independently with little day-to-day supervision

  • Have some experience working will hands and small tools such as in construction or other industry

  • Have an aptitude or experience working with computers

  • Are physically able to kneel, bend, stoop, and can lift up to 60 pounds

  • Appreciate the importance of safety and ability to follow strict safety and technical protocols

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or electronics field or combination of education and experience (Not Required but preferred)

  • Experience in a professional field service role

  • Tools for Installation of Equipment

  • Possess and maintain a good driving record

  • Ability to travel regularly in a multi-state area

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude

  • Independent and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of the team

  • Current U.S. Passport and ability to travel internationally

  • Requires a considerable amount of physical labor and work in a variety of conditions
     

Accountant

Full Time

The Accountant will work as part of a team responsible for a variety accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, highly organized, and have a sharp attention to detail. We are looking for someone with basic accounting skills who is excited to grow with our company.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and vendors

  • Answer calls on a multiline phone system and direct to appropriate departments

  • Processing incoming mail

  • Scan documents and attach correctly in database

  • High volume invoice matching, coding, checking for accuracy, and data entry

  • Coding and reconciliation of credit card accounts

  • Handling inquiries from vendors and reconciling monthly statements

  • Creating invoices for same day spare part shipments

  • Filing

  • Work with purchasing and receiving to resolve problems as they arise

  • Other tasks as assigned to assist other team members

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis

Qualifications

  • Basic accounting skills

  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable

  • Knowledge of QuickBoos, Microsoft Office, and 10 key by touch
