Twist Rinse

TWIST RINSER

Can inversion rinser | twist rinse can infeed | pre-fill can cleaning system for beverage packaging lines

The CODI Twist Rinser is a gravity-fed can rinser that inverts empty cans through a fixed track, cleans the interior with ionized air or water, and returns them upright ahead of the filler at up to 1,400 CPM. Gravity moves the containers and the track geometry does the work, which keeps the assembly at roughly 75 pounds. The track handles containers from 100mL through Crowlers, with discharge heights of 40, 45, or 49 inches to meet your filler deck. Mount it to a depalletizer or specify the short-track hand-feed version.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Commercial-Grade Construction

5/8" half-round stainless steel with a reinforced topside backbone, built to the same standards used by major can manufacturers. Bolts directly to depalletizer and filler without additional support structures.

Any Can Size, Any Line

Twist Riners sizes available for nearly every can format from 100 mL to large crowlers. Multiple track sizes can mount to the same depalletizer. Compatible with all depalletizers and fillers on the market.

Dual Bottom Rails

Dual rails along the bottom of the inversion section allow large debris to fall clear of the can interior rather than staying inside during the rinse cycle.

Hand Feed Option

Floor support hand feed option makes the Twist Rinser usable as a standalone mobile unit for flexible or lower-volume setups.

FAQ

What is the difference between a twist rinser and a vacuum rinser?

A twist rinser uses a fixed, custom-formed mechanical twist cage to physically invert the container over an ionized air or water manifold, then right it before discharge. A vacuum rinser holds cans against a moving overhead belt, requiring no mechanical twist cages.

What container sizes does the Twist Rinser accommodate?

Each twist cage is purpose-built to a specific container diameter and height profile (e.g., 12oz standard or 16oz standard). Running multiple can sizes requires swapping the twist cage assembly, which can be completed quickly with quick-release hardware.

Can the Twist Rinser run without water?

Yes. When configured with an ionized air manifold, it strips static electricity from the container walls so dust and cardboard debris drop out cleanly without generating wastewater or interior condensation.

How does the Twist Rinser feed into the canning line?

It mounts directly inline between your depalletizer discharge and filler infeed, operating at synchronized speeds driven by standard conveyor drives.
