Blower Dry Off System

SURE DRY BLOWER

Post-fill can dryer | blower dry-off system | inline container drying for beverage packaging lines

The CODI Sure Dry Blower is an inline can drying system that uses an adjustable air manifold to blow water off the tops and sides of cans. Moisture on cans after filling causes label adhesion failures and damages corrugated cardboard trays at pack-out. Powered by a low-pressure centrifugal blower rather than a compressor, it uses significantly less energy than compressed-air drying. It fits any existing conveyor, handles all standard can and bottle sizes, and offers tool-free access for nozzle and manifold cleaning.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Focused Air Manifold

Adjustable angled fingers direct airflow precisely across the tops and sides of each can. More effective than generic air curtains that blast in one direction.

Blower-Powered

Low-pressure centrifugal blower is sized per application. Draws significantly less energy than compressed-air drying and doesn't compete with other compressor-dependent equipment on your line.

Integrated Drip Pans

Captures excess water at the source. Keeps the workspace clean without additional drainage infrastructure.

Tool-Free Maintenance

Nozzles and manifold are accessible without tools. Optional rinse box with integrated drip pans pairs directly with the blower for a combined wash-and-dry station.

FAQ

Why use a blower instead of compressed air to dry cans?

A low-pressure blower moves far more air per unit of energy than a plant air compressor, cutting operating electricity costs sharply. It also removes the risk of compressor oil or moisture line carryover contaminating clean can surfaces before labeling.

What does drying cans accomplish on a packaging line?

It removes standing water and condensation left by filling, warming, or rinsing. A dry can wall is essential for pressure-sensitive label applicators to achieve clean adhesion without bubbling, slipping, or flagging.

Can the manifold be adjusted for different container sizes?

Yes. Fully adjustable air knives allow you to direct the airflow precisely across the top, sides, and bottom of standard, sleek, or slim cans, as well as bottles.

Does it work with conveyors already on the floor?

Yes. The blower enclosure and air knife manifold mount directly over existing CODI or third-party conveyance without requiring track modifications.
