DPL-250 STANDARD
DEPALLETIZER

Automated can depalletizer | layer sweep depal | craft beverage packaging line

The CODI DPL-250 is a can depalletizer that runs up to 250 CPM, engineered for beverage producers that need reliable automated depalletizing. It is our best selling depalletizer for a reason! Unlike standard hoist systems that put greasy, moving parts directly above your open cans, the DPL-250 uses an enclosed-chain counterbalance that keeps all mechanical components away from the product path. VFD-controlled drives, encoder layer tracking, integrated slip sheet removal, and a touchscreen HMI. Feeds directly into container cleaning, filling, and packaging equipment and integrates perfectly with our CCL-45 Counter Pressure Can Filler

PRODUCT FEATURES

Enclosed-Chain Counterbalance Lift

No overhead grease drip points above open cans. The lift mechanism is fully enclosed, keeping contamination risks out of the product path where they don't belong.

Side-Driven Layer Sweep

Locking hardware holds cans secure during the sweep so they arrive on the conveyor upright and undamaged, every layer.

Integrated Single Filer

A built-in single-filer conveyor comes standard. No separate integration required to get cans moving single file into your line.

VFD-Controlled Drives with Encoder Positioning

Variable frequency drives let you dial in speed to match your line, and the encoder tracks exact layer position so the lift stops where it should, every time.

FAQ

What makes the DPL-250 different from a garage-door-style depalletizer?

Most depalletizers use a garage-door-style lift, where chains and counterweights hoist the entire pallet carriage inside a tall tower. The DPL-250 uses a direct-drive lift table with no chains, no counterweights, and no overhead pulleys. That removes a major maintenance item and lowers the overall machine height.

What speed and container types can the DPL-250 handle?

It runs up to 250 CPM under ideal conditions, handling standard, sleek, and slim aluminum cans as well as glass bottles and PET containers. That versatility makes it a practical entry-level automated feed for multi-format craft lines.

Does the DPL-250 handle slip sheets and top frames automatically?

No. The operator removes top frames and slip sheets manually from the platform as each layer elevates. For automated top-frame removal and slip-sheet collection at higher speeds, step up to the DPL-500.

What does the DPL-250 need downstream?

A mass-accumulation table or single-filing conveyor to transition containers from full layers into a single line for your rinser or filler. CODI configures discharge conveyance to match your line layout.
