CE Counter Pressure Canning Line
CE COUNTER PRESSURE FILLER & SEAMER
CE-compliant counterpressure filler and seamer | inline canning machine | European beverage packaging
The CODI CCL-45CE is a fully enclosed (monoblock), CE-compliant inline counterpressure can filler and seamer that handles carbonation up to 4.0 volumes and warmer incoming liquid temperatures. It is the same proven counterpressure technology as the CCL-45, built to full EU compliance with an enclosed footprint for producers who need it. 304 stainless steel throughout for true CIP capability. Since 2015 this is the counterpressure filler trusted by craft breweries, coffee roasters, and kombucha makers around the world.

PRODUCT FEATURES
Clean-in-Place (CIP)
Fully CIP-capable with closed-loop recirculation, high-temperature rated components, and PLC-controlled cycles for thorough, repeatable sanitation between runs.
Counterpressure Filling
Isobaric filling seals and purges each can with CO₂ before filling under pressure, protecting carbonation and enabling consistent fills across a wider range of temperatures and carbonation levels up to 4.0vols.
Cam-Driven Seaming
Mechanical seaming synchronized with the feed screw delivers a consistent, reliable seal every cycle with minimal variability and straightforward troubleshooting.
Centralized HMI Control
A single control point manages purge cycles, tank pressure, fill rate, settle time, and snift cycles, with audible and visual alerts if anything falls out of spec.

FAQ
What is the difference between the CCL-45 and the CCL-45CE?
Fill and seam performance is identical. The CE version is built to EU compliance standards with full enclosure, which is why it weighs roughly 1,845 pounds against 1,300 for the standard CCL-45. Specify it if you are selling into a CE market, or if you want a fully enclosed line regardless of market.
Does the CE version give up any capability?
No. Carbonation range is 0 to 4.0+ volumes CO2, product temperature 28 to 52 degrees F, and speed up to 55 CPM under ideal conditions, matching the standard machine. Full CIP capability and 304 stainless construction carry over unchanged.
Why would a producer outside the EU choose the CE version?
A fully enclosed monoblock contains the fill and seam zone, which limits airborne contamination reaching open cans and simplifies guarding on a fast line. Producers outside CE markets sometimes specify it for that reason alone.
What options are available on the CCL-45CE?
3 head or 6 head configurations, ROPP capper upgrade, CO2 tunnel, pre-purge or widget purge, foam jetter, bi-directional CIP, flowmeter, and screw lubrication. Voltage covers 208-240V single or three-phase and 380-500V three-phase. For dedicated ROPP bottle work, the CCL-45ROPP is the purpose-built platform.
