Since 1992 Codi Manufacturing has been providing custom conveying solutions to the beverage/beer, food, household products industries. We are experiencing growth, and we need a full-time Solidworks Drafter/Engineering Position.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is a creative thinker with a strong work ethic to help our business expand to meet customer demands. Being a team player who is detail oriented with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills is essential. Become part of a team where you count not just another number.

Daily tasks:

• Mechanical Drafting using Solidworks. Focus on sheet metal and machined parts, as well as assemblies. Creating detail drawings for shop use.

• Hands on building/testing of prototype machines

• Create shop work orders

• Manage projects through fabrication and assembly with shop leads

• Work with vendors to research purchased parts and negotiate pricing

• Work with design team to create best products possible

Requirements

• Strong in Solidworks or comparable 3D CAD software

• Passion for design, mechanical systems and quality of work

• Willingness to Work Hard and Accept Constructive Criticism

• Thrives working in a collaborative environment

• Reliable transportation

Not Required but a Plus

• BS in ME or MET plus but not required for position

• 1-2+ years designing machinery, machined parts, sheet metal fabrication

Experience in aluminum can manufacturing, conveying, brewery equipment, or fill line and packaging equipment is a plus
