Position Summary
CODI Manufacturing is looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Professional to join our controls and assembly team. This role is critical in bringing our custom automation equipment to life through precise electrical integration. You will be responsible for building industrial control panels and executing the final wiring and termination on complex machinery.

This is an ideal position for someone who excels at technical work, enjoys following complex schematics, and takes pride in clean, organized, and high-quality electrical craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Building and wiring industrial control panels in accordance with UL 508A standards.

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate component placement and point-to-point wiring.

Performing electrical terminations on automation machines, including sensors, motors, and I/O modules.

Routing and grooming wire harnesses and cables to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Using various electrical tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, and multi-meters, to complete and test assemblies.

Collaborating with controls engineers and mechanical assemblers to resolve integration issues and ensure proper machine functionality.

Inspecting electrical work for quality and compliance before equipment moves to the testing phase.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical assembly, industrial wiring, or a related technical field.

Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.

Reliable attendance and safe work habits.

Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.

Capacity to work in diverse settings, including occasional work in constrained or unconventional postures.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with PLC components and industrial automation sensors.

Specific experience wiring UL 508A panels or similar industrial control systems.

Experience in custom, low-volume, or prototype manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of electrical safety standards and NEC codes.

Forklift or material-handling experience.
